I loved watching the Spiderman cartoon series when I was a young child. I even read the comic strips in the Toronto Star, before they were taken out. I didn't collect comics when I was young, due to the cost and keeping up with the issues. This pose I found through the cover of a Sega Master System game for Spiderman, through the years, my spidey drawing skills got better.
